Maya Horgan Famodu is a Nigerian-American who is committed to promoting entrepreneurship in Sub-saharan Africa. She is an ecosystem architect, driving growth and development in sub-Saharan based startup ecosystems. She is also the founder of Ingressive, an investment group that backs top African Tech and leads corporate and venture capitalists to do business and successful navigate West Africa.
Amongst several ventures before starting Ingressive, Maya worked in private equity research, consulting with businesses looking to enter the West African market and supported global advancement initiatives with Steve Mariotti, Founder of Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship and brought companies including YCombinator, 500 startups, New Relic, USAID, GitHub and Techstars to Nigeria to meet local tech ecosystem, then invest in deals.
